VIDIAN - Promo'09

      "5 musicians do not stop to plan world domination, so probably you will hear about them soon." In these words the band Vidian from Bydgoszcz speaks of himself. May seem that it is a little exaggeration, but not at all! Guys know exactly what they want and no matter what, they wish to achieve that. Long and winding road in front of them. To start their journey, they must exist somewhere, and I the one of the few who can help them. I'll try to present you how it all started. Several boys from Bydgoszcz gathered up to make a band. In this unusual way in 2008, Vidian was born. They put themselves a high target and in less than no time they began to record their first material. And so here in my hands is "Promo'09", the first official demo of the team. I must admit that the music is quite nice, immediately gives the satisfaction. The only problem is that the album is difficult to classify. On the other hand, in the near future, this argument can be the best weapon of the crew. "Promo'09" consists of 5 (actually 4) the average length compositions, set in the death metal climates. So, it might seem that about 20 minutes total crash. Gentlemen the rapid and painful speed replaced turned on roller sound's, in some places varied by slightly progressive serves and sometimes by gentle deathcore. This stylistic diversity only shows that Vidian is still looking for his own style. The deaf could not hear the lack of originality in this music. Indeed, they benefits from giants of death metal (can be heard the influence of Morbid Angel or Gorija), but they do not cut the occasional corners. I praise them for it. Disc begins bloody and horrifically heavy "Alternation" (do not know why split into two parts). The second in the rank is "Absolution", which follows a similar course. Change occurs in 3rd and 4th track, when the heavy guitars give way to deathcore melody and progressive insets. However, they are not devoid of grave climate precursors. Basically, it would be enough, because I do not know what more I could scrawl about this material. I recommend you to reach for the "Promo'09", because in the simplest words the album is worth it. Moreover, you can download it from the official myspace profile of the team.
      I guarantee that the time spent with this music will not be wasted. And do not let the word "deathcore" frighten you! This music is much more death than the core!
